You can easily create subdomains that are different from your main domain through the subdomains function in cPanel. For example, if you have a blog or a forum, you can create a subdomain for it, for instance – blog.host-bd.com.

Many users use subdomains for creating mobile versions, forums, blogs, and websites. Subdomains can be easily created with the steps given below:

  • Login to your cPanel.
  • In the ‘Domains’ section and click on ‘Subdomains’.
  • Enter the name of the subdomain and select the domain under which you want to create the subdomain. A folder will automatically get created for the subdomain in the public_html folder.
  • Click on the ‘Create’ option after entering all the details.

After you complete these steps, it might take up to 24 hours for the subdomain to get live (propagate).
